A HUGE thank you to all our fantastic marshals and stewards, along with the group of competitors who helped the marshals on the course when one of our competitors suffered a seizure and had to be air lifted to hospital. Gordon is now back home after a few days in hospital and on the recovery trail, and passes on his own personal thanks to everyone involved. Let's hope you make a full recovery Gordon, and we hope to see you later in the year.
Thank you to everyone for coming to Cartmel Racecourse on Saturday. The going proved heavy after the first rain in almost a month. Please note : the final eight places in the Challenge were all involved assisting our unfortunate competitor who needed helicopter rescue. All their times are at least 45-55 minutes longer because of this. A massive thank you for your help - Gordon is now at home and recuperating well.
